Movement Labs has severed ties with co-founder Rushi Manche following a market maker scandal, rebranding itself as Move Industries. The protocol announced the leadership change on May 7, with Torab Torabi stepping in as the new CEO. Co-founder Cooper Scanlon has voluntarily relinquished his role as CEO.

The newly named Move Industries promises forthcoming details on governance restructuring. A fresh social media presence under ’The Movement (MOVE)’ has emerged, framing the relaunch as a corporate rebirth. The abrupt transition underscores the project’s attempt to distance itself from recent controversies while maintaining operational continuity.
